Important Pool News at Disney's Polynesian Resort
We just received official word from Disney's Polynesian Resort that the East Pool will be going down for refurbishment beginning Mid-April 2015 and will remain closed through early 2016. Some pathways might be unavailable during this time. Work is scheduled to take place only after 9AM.
The new "Lava Pool" formally called the Volcano Pool, is expected to open early April 2015 after several months of refurbishment. This pool will feature a zero-depth entry, a 142-foot waterslide and an infinity hot tub.
