Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party FAQ
Q: Are there any restrictions on the kinds of costumes that can be worn?
A: Be sure to read the full Costume Guidelines Page but in short, costumes that are grotesque, obscene, suggest violence or are otherwise inappropriate for a family-friendly atmosphere are prohibited. Face masks on those age 14 and up are not allowed. Children and adults may dress as a favorite character but they cannot sign autographs or pose for photos. Disney Cast Members will monitor costumes carefully throughout the night.
Q: Where is the best place to watch the Halloween Parade?
A: Main Street USA is the best place to view the parade. Be sure to arrive 45-60 minutes prior to the parade to get a good spot. If you don't mind getting there even earlier, try the second floor of the Main Street railroad station. You'll have a terrific view of the parade and Cinderella Castle.
Q: can I make FastPass Selections for rides during the party?
A: No. FastPass queues will be closed at the start of the party. There's so much to see and do, that you probably won't have time for many rides anyway. As you might imagine, Haunted Mansion will be super popular on party nights so be prepared for a longer than normal wait.
Q: If I enter the park at 4 p.m. can I make FastPass selections?
A: You can make FastPass selections only if you also have general admission ticket to Magic Kingdom Park. If you have only the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party ticket, you can of course enter at 4 p.m., but you will not be able to make FastPass selections.
Q: Once the park closes, how will Disney know I have a Mickey's Not So Scary Party Ticket?
A: There will be several kiosks located in the park where you can swipe your Magic Band to obtain a wristband. The wristband will signal Cast Members that you have a valid party ticket and you'll be permitted to stay in the park. There is also a dedicated entrance that you can use if you're not already inside the park.
Q: Can I bring my own Halloween trick or treat bag?
A: Sure, and it's a good idea to do so!
