Hotel Highlights
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter

Intricate railings, cobblestone streets and courtyards of flowers capture the spirit and romance of New Orleans' French Quarter. Dine on Creole delicacies, plunge into Doubloon Lagoon with its fantastic water slide or relish the Mardi Gras atmosphere. Dazzling detail, bayou excitement and "all that jazz" can be had for a "song."

Rooms

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is the most popular Walt Disney World Moderate hotel. Guests enjoy its small size and compared to the other Moderates like Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, this hotel is tiny with only 1,008 rooms, about half the size. Even the furthest room from the lobby is less than a 5 minute walk. There's one bus stop for the entire resort and the food court is never too crowded.

Other than size, there are two big differences that separate French Quarter from Riverside: French Quarter rooms sleep a maximum of 4 guests (plus one child up to age 3 in a crib) and there is no table service restaurant, only a quick service food court.

There is very little difference between room categories, booking Standard View will save you the most money and there's a good chance you will still end up with a pretty nice view. Building 4 is one of the more desirable buildings for its convenient location to the pool, dining, and bus depot.
