"What a wonderful trip! It exceeded my expectations and was worth every penny. How many times in life can you say that? You were without a doubt a very big part of how wonderful this trip was and I thank you for that. You made yourself completely accessible for all questions and concerns and prepared us for the wonderful things Disney World has to offer." Margit M. - Vancouver, Washington

"Without you and your great rates, we would never have been able to stay at the Polynesian Resort. It's been a dream of ours to stay there and I can't thank you enough for making that dream come true!" Kelly S. - Toms River, NJ

I don't know how you do it but we saved over $1500 by booking with you. Why didn't I know about you years ago? Thanks for being so patient with us while we figured things out. I'm your customer for life!" Jean V, Speedway, IN

Orlando Sentinel's Article on WDW Cable-Cars is Misleading.

In an article on April 18, 2017, the Orlando Sentinel confirmed a rumor that a new transportation system is coming to Walt Disney World. According to the article, the Orlando Sentinel obtained permits filed with Reedy Creek Improvement district that showing that Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Pop Century Resort, Art of Animation Resort, and Caribbean Beach Resort will be linked by a gondola/cable-car. Disney has not released a statement confirming the project.

The problem, however, is that the Orlando Sentinel's article is misleading. It suggests that it will be a gondola type system, with pods suspended from a cable but the article uses the terms, "gondola," "cable-car," and "tramway" interchangeably. These are all very different.

In short, a gondola is an enclosed cabin suspended by a wire - similar to a ski lift. A cable car is a car on tracks (similar to a train) and is propelled by grabbing hold of a moving wire. It has no motor of its own. Cable-cars are capable of climbing steeper grades than trains and monorails - like the San Francisco cable cars.

Finally, a "tramway" just refers to the tracks, or line, that cable car rides on.

We can assume that Disney is working on some kind of mass transportation system but without having full details, the Orlando Sentinel should not assume that this will be a gondola suspended from high above.

Express Bus Service Change - Walt Disney World

Express Transport Change

Express Transportation service will have a change in operating hours on Sunday, April 23, 2017, with service beginning at 1:00 PM and concluding at park closing. Normal operating hours will resume Monday, April 24, 2017. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have tickets with the Park Hopper Option (or a Walt Disney World annual pass), adding Express Transportation is a great way to park hop without having to pass through security each time. Disney will take you directly to the drop-off location inside the theme park you want to visit next—with no waiting to reenter at the gate. This is a great option, especially with the new airport-style security system in place at each Theme Park.

Classic Space Mountain Returning to Disneyland

On June 1, 2017, the classic Space Mountain returns to Disneyland Park. Just days after we mark the 40th anniversary of this Tomorrowland favorite, space travelers will blast off once again for their intergalactic adventure.

A variation of a concept Walt Disney developed in the 1960s, Space Mountain first opened at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort in 1975, and construction on Space Mountain at Disneyland Park began soon after. The attraction went on to become a Guest favorite, seeing special themed versions such as Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and Hyperspace Mountain.

You are clear for launch starting June 1, 2017 with the return of Space Mountain at Disneyland Park!

First Look: Collector's Fortress at California Adventure

Today I have a first look at The Collector’s Fortress at Disney's California Adventure Park. This enigmatic building is home to the soon-to-be-unveiled Tivan Collection, where you will get to view the rare items in Taneleer Tivan’s extensive holdings, including his newest acquisitions: the Guardians of the Galaxy.

You can explore The Collector’s Fortress firsthand when Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! opens May 27, 2017 at Disney California Adventure Park.

The fortress shimmers with colorful and sparkling details; pipes cross and climb the exterior, carrying the organic matter the Tivan Group has mined to power the massive generator that powers the entire building, keeping every cage locked and the valuable collection secure. Rising and falling gantry lifts peek out of doors exposed through the corroded, burnt metal, and it even looks as if the structure may have taken laser fire and blasts.

Another Behind The Scenes Look at Pandora - World of Avatar

Friends at Walt Disney Imagineering recently shared another video on the construction of Pandora - World of Avatar new land, which gives a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at how the project team has partnered with Lightstorm Entertainment and many of the original AVATAR filmmakers – including James Cameron and Jon Landau – to bring the new land to life. In this video, several members of the Pandora “Super Team” share what the experience of bringing Pandora – The World of Avatar to life has been like for them, and some of the amazing moments that have exceeded even their imaginations.

Watch carefully at the background footage as the video doesn't explicitly point out new reveals!
