Located in Kissimmee, Florida, Margaritaville Resort Orlando is less than 5 miles away from the entrance to Walt Disney World Resort. From some areas of the resort, you can see Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, it’s that close!

Margaritaville offers a complimentary theme park shuttle to/from Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and Seaworld. Reservations can be made at concierge desk in the lobby.

Airport transfers are not offered, but you can use Uber/Lyft or a town car service.

A car rental office is located on property.

Nightly room rates start around $170/night but there are many factors such as day of the week, season and demand for rooms. Often, a standard room is priced comparably to a Disney World Value or Moderate Resort, but Margaritaville’s room amenities and square footage are comparable to a Disney World Deluxe Resort.

Most Margaritaville Orlando hotel rooms sleep 4 people. If you have more than 4 people, check out a suite or consider a cottage (see below).

There are two lagoon pools. The quiet pool offers a tranquil setting designed for relaxation. The feature pool offers a family atmosphere featuring poolside games, a bar & grill, and a DJ.

One of my favorite things about this hotel is that every room has spacious balcony, a view of the pool and the lush gardens.

Cottages

The Margaritaville Cottages provide a truly unique experience as the whole family can stay under one roof in a tropical paradise. 1 to 8 Bedroom Cottages are available and each Cottage is equipped for all your vacation needs, including full kitchen with accessories and appliances, full size fridge, Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker, and a dining area.

Cottage Options

Cottages come in multiple configurations from 1 to 8 bedrooms. There’s an easy formula for figuring out how many each cottage can sleep: just double the number of bedrooms. For example, a 4 bedroom cottage can sleep up to 8 people. An 8 bedroom can sleep 16 people.

1 bedroom cottages can sleep up to 4 guests.

Some cottages have a private pool and outdoor grills. Use of the lagoon pools at the hotel is included with all cottages as well.

There are multiple categories within the cottages such as Base, Superior, Premium and Elite. It’s a bit complicated but this is one of the areas where a travel advisor can help you. In general, upgraded categories have features like a preferred location, a lake view, a hot tub or and/or a private pool.

1 Bedroom cottages start at under $200 per night. Rates vary based on season, demand, and category.

There are several dining options inside the hotel lobby, but you also visit Sunset Walk where you’ll find several unique restaurants and retailers, and live entertainment. Maybe even a car show!

The Promenade at Sunset Walk

Sunset walk is a dining, shopping and entertainment venue located situated onsite.

Regional musicians play live music Wednesday through Sunday, offering eclectic mix of cover and original music including all genres from rock ’n’ roll, country, Latin, reggae, top 40, and more.

On the second Sunday of every month, the Promenade at Sunset Walk hosts hundreds of classic to modern cars in a car show. It’s popular with locals too.

The Street Market happens every Saturday Evening and features the best local artisan, craft, and specialty vendors from across Central Florida.

For dining options you’ll find Capone’s Coal Fired Pizza, Ford’s Garage, Estefan Kitchen, El Jefe Tequila, Lizzie’s Memphis Style BBQ, Flower Cafe and Bakery, just to name a few. There’s also a dine-in movie theater.

Sunset walk - Island H2O Live! Water Park

Island H2O Live! is Central Florida’s newest water park. The park’s innovative design and technology make it a uniquely immersive and interactive experience. Inside you’ll find a lazy river, wave pool, area for kids, family interactive zone, body slides, mat racers, tube slide and raft rides for the whole family.

Island H20 Live! is designed to enable you to customize your experience by selecting music and lighting on a number of rides using a state-of-the-art RFID wristband system.
