Torch Lighting Ceremony Returns

The Torch Lighting Ceremony has returned to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This event is a longstanding tradition and it's also on our FREE Must-Do Activities at Walt Disney World list! 

The torch lighting ceremony returned in November after being on hiatus while the resort was reimagined to include redesigned lobby and pool areas, new eateries Pineapple Lanai and Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, an excitingChildren’s Activity Center called Lilo’s Playhouse, and more. Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, the newestDisney Vacation Club Resort, also opened nearby earlier this year, offering 360 Deluxe Villas and 20 over-the-water Bungalows.
