Mysterious Trailers Arrive at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

Dozens of trailers have arrived at Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park. It’s unclear as to what they are doing there or if they have anything to do with the construction taking place.

We observed trucks backing up to the trailers and hauling them away. Others arrived with trailers, parked them in the lot, then drove off.

Cast Members at Winter Summerland said the trailers began arriving in the lot about 2 weeks ago.

Blizzard Beach, one of two Disney World water parks has been closed since March of 2023. Disney has not provided many details on why the water park has been closed but large cranes have been spotted as well as a numerous work vehicles.

The Walt Disney World website does not list a reopening date for Blizzard Beach, other than it is “closed.” However, the Disney Parks website hints that it might reopen in late November.

“Currently, Typhoon Lagoon is the only water park open and there haven't been any announcements so far indicating when Blizzard Beach will open for the season.  Last year, it reopened after refurbishment in November, so that could be an indication of a general time we can hope for it to open this year.”
